A house extension for a growing young family.

The brief was to create a space leading on from the main living areas that provided a ‘getaway’ for Mum and Dad, away from the noise of daily living.

The design required a sympathy towards the existing house and material palette so that the new and old parts of the house paired together seamlessly. To quote the homeowner, “We had visitors over from OZ who had never seen the place, they had no inkling there had been an extension. Well designed and executed”
